NEW DELHI: Google on Thursday commemorated India's 74th The doodle has been illustrated by Gujarat-based guest-artist The doodle has the letters 'g', 'o', 'g', 'l' and 'e' and a circle over the dome of the President's House represents the other 'o' in 'Google'. Peacock and floral patterns add a layer of charm to the art in monochrome. It also features a video of the doodle in the making. "My inspiration was to create a portrait of India," says the artist. "Today's doodle artwork is crafted from intricately hand-cut paper. Many elements of the Republic Day parade are represented in the artwork, including the Rashtrapati Bhavan (where the president resides), the India Gate, the CRFP marching contingent, and motorcycle riders. Goa may get Rs 7,000 crore from Union Budget: CM | Goa News – Times of India
Panaji: A day after the Union Budget was presented, CM Pramod Sawant on Thursday said that the state government may get over Rs 7,000 crore under various Centre-sponsored schemes. “By March 31, we will get over Rs 5,000 crore,” Sawant said. He said that the state will get more benefits this year compared to the previous years. Sawant said Goa will set aside Rs 2,000 crore from the fund for a circle road connecting all border points of the state. He said that urban development funds have been announced in the Union Budget and the state will seek funds for all 13 municipalities. He said that the state is aiming to get additional Rs 500 crore for developing rural infra. The CM said the state will take the Centre’s help to open an artificial intelligence (AI) centre of excellence and a Skill India centre. Synopsis "The issue was addressed under the Annual Bilateral Agreement with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for Haj 2023 and inspite of challenges of COVID-19, the original Haj quota of the country i.e. 1,75,025 has been restored for Haj 2023," Irani said. The quota earmarked for Haj Committee of India (HCoI) under the Annual Bilateral Agreement is meant for pilgrims from various states and UTs for Haj 2023. India 's Haj quota for this year has been fixed at 1,75,025 according to the bilateral agreement with Saudi Arabia, the government said on Thursday. In a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Minority Affairs Minister Smriti Irani said the ministry has had a number of interactive sessions on Haj management with stakeholders, including Haj Committees of the states and Union Territories, wherein requests for restoration of Haj quota were received.
