AB PM-JAY , the government aims to deliver 10 lakh Ayushman Bharat cards everyday from 4.5 lakh cards, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Sunday. He spoke at the inauguration of Arogya Manthan 2022 programme that marks the completion of four years of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and a year of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Highlighting that 3.95 crore admissions amounting to Rs 45,294 crore have been done so far under it, Mandaviya informed that the government’s focus is to make health services reach people at the end of the delivery chain, enabled by technology. Highlighting the PMJAY beneficiaries as the most important stakeholder in the largest global public health insurance scheme, Dr Mandaviya stated that “Over 19 crore Ayushman Cards have been made in the country spanning its coverage in 33 States/UTs, and more than 24 crore ABHA numbers have also been generated.
